Felting a Bag

I just finished knitting the Constant Companion bag, and now it is to be felted.

It was a lot of fun to knit, and I love to felt things, so we'll see what happens.

I think I will probably make more of these in different sizes with embellishments.

Something New!!

I found this great yarn at the local yarn shop, and saw someone's finished lace shawl, and knew it was meant to be. Can't wait to get started.

The pattern I've chosen is Leda's Dream from Pink Lemon Twist, and the yarn is Malabrigo, the color is Applewood. It's considered to be for a beginner, so we'll see if I can do it.

Finished!

I finished this apron to list in my Etsy shop...let's see how long it takes to get that done!

It turned out really cute. Also finished a London Beanie for my son. He wears it too.

Will take a picture of that soon. Working on an afghan for the other son, almost done.

Socks!!

I am busy knitting various projects right now, but I recently acquired some new
knitting needles. My daughter bought them for me! They are HiyaHiya circular
needles. I am going to try them out on sock knitting. I usually use double points,
but these are so cute. Can't wait to try them. Pics to follow!!

Yarn Shop!

Yesterday we went on mission to find a yarn shop. And guess what?
We found it!!! They had everything that a knitter could want.
And...they have a knitting group, and they meet at Barnes and Noble.
We went to the group, and it was great. Everyone was so nice.
We will be making this a weekly event.

A Day of Crafting

Today I spent the day doing what I wanted to do,
and this is the result of part of it. I made a refrigerator
magnet! Can't have too many of those.

This is the yowler. He's cute I know, but don't let appearances fool you.
He is loud, and he wakes us up about 3 times a night.
I'm so tired!!!!
